Special Teams Lead in a Blowout

Picture
The Patriots left Miami feeling good about a 41-14 blowout win over bitter division rivals. The Patriots special teams dominated the game to the tune of a Brandon Tate kick off return touchdown, Patrick Chung blocked punt and Brandon Spikes fumble return touchdown. Patrick Chung was not done there as he picked off an errant Chad Henne pass and returned it for another touchdown. The offense barely saw the field in the second half because of a dominant performance by the special teams unit. The bend but don't break defense of the Patriots may frustrate fans at times but it paid off against the Dolphins as the Patriots had four interceptions. Devin McCourty had another solid game starting at cornerback and it is starting to look like the first rounder is becoming one of the best defensive players on the team.
